Already one of the top 100 unsigned artists on Myspace's California Pop list Tyler has been a featured artist on Radio Disney, KIIS FM, Myxer.com, and many teen sites. At age 16, Tyler released his EP "Goin' to LA" produced by Christian Davis of Sly Doggie Productions and the single was featured as myxer.com's "Pick Of the Day" setting a record on the ringtone site-downloaded once every 19 seconds for 24 hours. Recently, Tyler has been writing and recording several new songs for his full length album with established producers and writers in the industry such as Kevin Savigar, Martin Harrington, Eddie Galan, Jeff Solomon, Michael Carey, Mach 1 Music, Lindsay Vinarsky, Dylan Lloyd, Will Champlin, Gregory Watton, Michael Raphael, Jeffery David, Adam Kagan, Mysto & Pizzi, The Knocks, Deanna DellaCioppa, Amy Powers, Eric Lumiere, and more. He has also been writing songs for other artists.
Shamy's music has been featured internationally on radio stations in over 15 major markets including Radio Disney, Clear Channel, and various theme parks. Tyler has performed at numerous concerts, venues, fairs, charity events, and festivals including Whisky a Go Go, House of Blues, The Troubadour, Six Flags, OC Fair, Girlfest, Kidfest, Power of Youth, Starlight Foundation, School Zone Pop Tour, PACE School Tour, LA Childrens' Hospital, Relay For Life, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and many more on stages with V-Factory, Varsity Fan Club, The Clique Girlz, Savannah Outen, Joey Page, Comic Book Heroes, Savvy & Mandy, Jonnie & Brookie, Ashley Argota, and more.
Some highlights of his film, television, and voiceover credits include: General Hospital, "We'll Be a Dream" music video (Demi Lovato & We The Kings), "World of Lines" short film and music video (Coheed & Cambria), T-Mobile, Sony Free Realms, Guitar Hero, 7-11, Acne Free Infomercial, Sony HDTV, MTV's "Hammer" video game, Brett Dennen music video, The Dares (Jive Records) music video, Coldstone Creamery, Kids' Music Round CDs, feature film Flying Heroes, Kabillion Network, and several others.
Tyler has created an innovative sound as he sings and incorporates a wide range of genres and styles into his music, carried by honest, fresh, edgy lyrics and catchy hooks.
