The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy review

Posted : 10 months, 4 weeks ago on 9 June 2023 01:15

Me gusta, pero a la vez me decepciona, pudo fácilmente haber sido la sucesora de coraje el perro cobarde para CN, pero se estanco demasiado en el humor escatológico y referencial durante sus últimas temporadas. Pero sigue siendo un buen show.

the grim adventures of billy and mandy was not for little kids it was for young teens because it was really vilonte and dark in one episode billy thinks mandys a cannibal. and in the end she burps out irwins glasses. grim imagines killing the kids in some episodes. and in one episode he tries to kill kids for fun. and in lots of episodes reaps people. billy shreds his face off on the sidewalk. mandy orders evreyone to kill her new nanny. mandy is a sadistic sociopath. who beats up and abuses billy. in one episode billy asked mandy if she wanted to play and she said im busy go play in traffic. a bunny jumps out of some fire with half its skin missing. and says he loves a kid to death. and in the movie billy while naked tells grim to suck it.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy review

This is one of the best cartoons of all time. One of my childhood favorites. I first heard the theme song when I was about 10 years old and I love the "Destroy us all!" part. It's fun for kids to watch for ages 5-12! Morbidly funny yet gross and disgusting. You know it's like Invader Zim meets Are You Afraid of the Dark? Well, the character designs look pretty great but I am IN LOVE with Mandy's character designs!

About the characters, I rated it a 10/10 because they are excellent. Billy is my favorite character. He's very hilarious, goofy and a bit enthusiastic. Mandy hasn't worn any Goth clothes yet but she's very cynical, merciless and never smiles. In the Grim & Evil episodes, she is shown smiling but the world didn't implode yet. The Grim Reaper is awesome! I like some characters such as Eris, Hoss Delgado, Irwin, Dracula, Nergal, Nergal Jr., Jeff the Spider, Harold, Jack O'Lantern, Velma Green, Boogeyman and Fred Fredburger. I hated Mindy, Pud'n and Sperg!

About the music, it's kinda catchy. I love those tunes! The music is very awesome! It makes a Danny Elfman vibe. I'm so excited!

For the excitement, this is awesome. I love the episodes. My favorite episodes of all-time are Attack of the Clowns (funny), My Peeps (very funny!), Little Rock of Horrors (I love the catchy tune), Grim in Love (with an awesome character, Malaria) and Mandy the Merciless.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy review

Cartoon Network's dark, morbid, and outrageously funny series was one of the Cartoon Cartoon staples alongside classics such as The Powerpuff Girls and Ed, Edd n Eddy. Grim is awesome incarnate, Billy is enjoyably moronic, and I don't care what people say about Mandy, I think she's wickedly funny with her deadpan characteristics. The plots are a mixed bag between stupid and epic. If you haven't seen it, then go watch it; the humor is as much for adults as it is for children ages 7 and up.

My rating: 7/10

Dark, funny, chock full of references... great. Aside from the things I find particularly funny are the toilet humor and cartoon action to satisfy the young ones.

And Although I have to hand it to Jhonen for making Zim, Billy & Mandy is going to last a lot longer.

This is what I call the follow up to Invader Zim. It's pretty dark, very crude, and overall not an exceptional children's show, or at least younger children. But it IS funny. Of course Billy pretty much makes the show, as do most stupid characters. It's extremely strange; you'll never know what will happen next. Seriously. It's still one of the best shows on Cartoon Network.

And as for the quote, it's just the one that came to mind while writing this.

Destroy us all!

I'm sorry to say, this is not a kids show. But it is pretty funny.

I think I caught an episode by accident, and had a few laughs. It's very macabre, and one of the few cartoons that I wouldn't let my kids watch if I had any.

It's dark and pretty disgusting at times, and I think it might freak out some kids, but I get some laughs and can see that it does come out pretty clever. And at other times it's just ridiculous.

They do touch on things that we all dislike, like the clown episode (which is where the subject title comes from). Parallels movies, comics and current events that kids wouldn't get, which is why I like it.
