“Wow. This show is amazing. And so good for black culture. It starts out slow, but why? Because they're building a strong foundation. Fleshing out the characters and their world. Building the story, building the relationships.
Every main character is so fully and deeply developed and so different from one another, and it's so wonderful. It's so deep and layered. From gang violence to white supremacy to showing a wholesome love story with a beautiful black couple. Showing the strong bond of black families, and the strong bond of gang families when there is no blood family to be a part of.
And the sci-fi comic part of the story? Come on! Top notch! All black superheroes!? Great powers, great build up of them figuring them out, the special effects were decent besides the e” read more
