With her deadpan, sarcastic lines and timing, Jane Levy is the breakout star of the show.The rest of the cast, from Jeremy Sisto's befuddled single dad to Cheryl Hines and the vapid sexpot, are all playing roles direct from TV Central Casting. Allie Grant is a surprise after her role on Weeds, but Carly Chaikin's Dalia is an absolute distraction! She's trying to play the spoiled, rich alpha girl but she comes off as either stoned or heavily-medicated and kills every scene she's in.

The pilot episode was actually quite strong and well written. I love several members of this cast (Alan Tudyk, Jeremy Sisto, Ana Gasteyer, and Cheryl Hines), so I will definitely be coming back for more, and with a solid start to the series, hopefully a lot of people will be doing the same, so it can have a fair chance to either take off, or flop.

A lot of familiar faces from the world of TV (and the bigger screen too), from well established TV favourites (SNL, Weeds, Six Feet Under, for instance), so hopefully that, paired with some good writing, and a decent time slot, will help keep this one alive.
