Description: 'Polizeiruf 110' ("Police Call 110") is a long-running German-language television detective series. The first episode was broadcast on 27 June 1971 in East Germany. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series 'Tatort' ('Crime Scene'), and quickly became a public favourite. After the dissolution of East German state television broadcaster DDR-FS following the reunification of East and West Germany, the series was picked up by the German TV channel ARD.
