The best animated series I've ever seen. Better and more fun than The Simpsons as well.
All of the characters are pretty funny, Zoidberg is hilarious, Bender well... Bender is Bender, and in most episodes he's pretty funny. Fry & Leela as well.

All in all, a very good animated series, and one of the few that I've thought are worthy of seening in the last few years.

If you liked The Simpsons and/or happen to be a sci-fi fan, then Futurama might be for you. The settings, sights, and characters are really creative, humorous, and out-of-this-world. This show doesn't just have big laughs and weird humor, it's balanced out with several genuinely heartwarming moments. In my opinion, the best seasons were 3 and especially 4, both of them having story arcs based around Fry's "Delta Brain Wave", Leela searching for her roots, and the two of them realizing what their relationship will be, which went on even after Comedy Central brought it back from the TV Graveyard. Do I recommend this show? Is the Space Pope reptilian?

I watch a lot of weird shows that people don't get, but I can't see how so many people like this show. I don't find it humorous in any way. Guess I just clearly missed the point of the whole thing.

The riffs on classic sci-fi plotlines, the character dynamics, and the endless intertextuality make this show the best animated comedy ever made.

This show fails on so many levels. It is just filled with stupid jokes and very stupid concepts. I don't remember laughing at this show once ever. However, people say it is one of the greatest shows on television. It might me be because people settle for next to nothing in comedy on t.v these days. I don't know. That is just what I think. this show is just not for me. It just doesn't have the material that I look for in a television show. I am not saying it will not appeal to you, I am just not very fond of it.

It's probably a good thing that it only lasted a few seasons, things would have gotten really stale (some would say that it did in its short life).

Below-average guy, frozen, thawed in the year 3000 and has wacky adventures with his friends. Wait, you all know this, you've watched it.

Anyhoo, there are things on this show that I hope they have in the future, and the satire of what's to come, I'd say it's kinda accurate.

Yes, it's in the vein of The Simpson's, but this show can be a little more bizarre and random, and I like that.
