Big Brother

Posted : 15 years, 10 months ago on 15 July 2008 04:28

This is one of the funniest, most entertaining reality shows on television. There is no show like it. The concept is great with several contestants placed in one big house having to put up with each other. It is hilarious. Their are often so many arguments and confrontations between the house guests. This show is addicting to watch, even if you haven't seen any of the previous seasons. Just turn on the television and watch the show. You will highly enjoy watching Big Brother.

Big Brother US review

Posted : 16 years, 8 months ago on 2 September 2007 01:02

Ive been watching Big Brother From the 5th series. One of favorite moments of the show was bb 5 the fight with Victor Ebuwa and Emma Greenwood, Emma what an annoying housemate she was while Victor gave the show intertanment with arguing with the housemates. Another classic from that series was Ahmed Aghil and him shouting at the housemates.

BB8 was a great show with Charley going mad at nearly every housemate which made the show a classic for me. Brian who won the show glad he did win he has brought entertainment to show.

I hope big brother will carry cause i know cleb big brother has been axed thanks to Shilpa Shetty who has wrecked Big brother, Shilpa should of been in big brother in the first place. they may have said Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd were racist it was just the way the show was edited. But people failed to see Jermaine Jackson racist comment to white people by calling us White trash he should of been booted out for that.

Big Brother great show hope they make more of them

Ive watched the American version of the show but the UK version beats it in everyway

Celebrity Big Brother - UK version

Posted : 16 years, 9 months ago on 25 July 2007 08:43

Oh dear :)
Whatever you might think of 'Reality TV' in general, you have to admit that when Big Brother first came out in July 2000 (UK), it was quite an innovation. 24-7 cameras on a willing group of unknowns who had to pull together to gain food or favours from BB, and survive a weekly round of voting to rid them from the house...

The first series was required viewing for a huge section of the UK audience, and the initial BB winners along with the likeable losers (including 'Nasty Nick') became tabloid sensations... for while. By the third series 'celebrities' were getting in on the act, initially for charity. But as the shows continue, the 'celebrity' arm has become a vehicle for 'forgotten faces' to re-vitalise their careers.

And yes, there's plenty you can say about the controversies that surround BB, from misleading edits to exploiting the vulnerable in order to gain higher ratings - like BB's treatment of Pete, the guy with Tourette's syndrome. But set aside those issues, and BB is great 'switch-off your brain' entertainment, especially the celebrity version - there are genuine laughs to be had, and you can er... catch-up on the stars of yester-year and act like you know your TV trivia. Top marks to BB for experimental programme-making.
