Description: Tsvetana Pironkova (Bulgarian: Цветана Кирилова Пиронкова) (born 13 September 1987) is a Bulgarian tennis player and the current no. 1 Bulgarian in the WTA rankings. Pironkova is right-handed and plays with a two-handed backhand. She is best known for reaching the semifinals of Wimbledon in 2010 and the quarterfinals the following year (earning her the nickname "The Wimbledon Darkhorse"), and for defeating Venus Williams three times at Grand Slam tournaments, twice at The Championships.
