"I can see your dirty pillows. Everyone will."

Posted : 1 year, 9 months ago on 20 August 2022 11:58

There's no trace of dirty pillows on this Funko, unlike Tiffany . When I saw this for the first time, along with Tiffany, I simply had to get both of them straight away. I love Carrie, and Bride of Chucky, so they are definitely worthwhile getting.

The detail on this, is astounding, from the blood drips down her face/dress and back and the little corsage on her wrist, which is a detail that could have so easily been missed out.

The dress in the photo appears slightly darker than what the dress is actually like - the dress is pretty damn close to the dress in the film, whereas the photo makes it look like a more mauve colour.

Definitely worthwhile adding to your collection.

Edit: I don't know why my photos are showing the wrong way round. They were taken the correct way up, and I've tried rotating them on the computer. Still showing incorrect. Thanks Amazon.

An average movie

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this flick but since there was a decent cast, I thought I should check it out. Indeed, the poster looked lame and the whole thing just didn’t look really promising. So, there was indeed a nice cast (James Marsden, Lena Headey, Norman Reedus, Kate Hudson, Eric Bogosian) but, above all, I was quite surprised when it turned out to be a decent thriller with a very good premise. Indeed, I really loved the concept they developped which was basically that through gossip you could deeply damage someone's life. So, unfortunately, the movie was not very well directed and the makers didn’t really know how to develop this interesting premise and instead they went for the predictable cheap thrills. That's too bad since it had such potential and it is not very often that I came across a thriller with an actually decent concept. With a skilled and ambitious director, I don’t know, someone like David Fincher for example, it could have been much better but I guess, it wasn’t meant to be. Still, in spite of its flaws, it remains a very interesting premise and an intriguing thriller so this flick is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
