Would be great if the front page showed some stuff

When logging in it would be nice if the front page showed most voted or popular pics(thumbnails) and lists of the week. top 5 or 10 or something.
If it gets cluttered you could always cut down the number of promoted lists showing,from 40 to 25 or something.
To see whats buzzing as well as a good overall impression.
