Why does no one appear under my authors?

If you say you own the book the author gets listed - if you say you have read the book the author doesn't get listed!

Is this a bug? If not surely having read a book should include the author in 'My Authors' more so than owning the book but not yet having read it?

It is currently owned books only, I was thinking of changing it but will probably have to have an option otherwise people who want to track owned books only may get annoyed by this change.
