17 years, 12 months ago at May 15 12:18 - If you've lost or gained a lot of points in one go and are not sure why, it could be due to:
1. A reorganiastion of the amount of points given for a particular activity. If the points have changed for, say, uploading a picture then all your original points given for that area will change accordingly to the new values.
2. Deletion of your contributions. It is possible that one or more of your pictures/reviews/etc. may have been seen as inappropriate and been removed from the site, the points would most likely disappear along with the items.
3. A new area giving points. If you have been contributing to a non-point-giving activity heavily and this is changed to point-giving, then you will be rewarded for your past efforts.
There is no way for any of us normal members to tell exactly why your points have fallen. If you want to ask specifically why it has happened at a particular time then your best bet of a more specific answer would be to mail Tom or post your question openly in the Development Group.
