Who's your favorite character on F.r.i.e.n.d.s?

joey is cool...

Chandler (Matthew Perry rules! only decent actor of the bunch)
but a more approriate question would be who your LEAST favorite character was. lol
in which case, its a three-way tie between the horrible Phoebe, Monica, and the guy played by Schwimmer.

yeah i'd say chandler to.

i'm glad I wasn't the only that notice only 1 of the 6 friends actually had any talent. lol
i shouldn't say that, though. That monkey was talented too. Loved his role in 'Outbreak'. lol

I always liked Chandler and Monica.
I hate Rachel and the "talented" actress who plays her.

yeah, that monkey could show more emotion than Jennifer Aniston.

Frankly... the guest stars and actors who were only on a couple of episodes were better than any of the Friends :P

do people still watch this sh*t show? i mean, it plays on repeat everyday, i wonder who still follows it religiously.
Seinfeld repeats, now those i can handle for another 5 years. but Friends?

joey is awesome

For sheer stupidity Joey wins but like the rest of the group I adore Chandler.
@ Prelude76: I stopped watching around season 7 but if there's a decent re-run I'll watch it. I have fond memories of the first few seasons but after that things started becoming the same.

The acting was quite bland on that show, I agree. Ross's character is pretty boring, and the only time Schwimmer puts anything into his voice was when he's shouting 'We were on a break!' or 'Pink salmon!' or something. In which case, he does pretty much the same thing for effect. Phoebe's suppose to be funny, I suppose, but Lisa Kudrow just acts like a soccer mom in a role. Which she is, come to think about it. I really don't see any saving grace involving Jennifer Aniston's inclusion in the series. I just don't respect her as an actress. Rachel is probably my least favorite character as well.
I've always thought Monica's character a little annoying, but I can greatly sympathize with having symptoms of OCD. I think that her quirky moments were Courtney Cox's most interesting, though the rest of the time she just seemed like an extra Rachel. Joey's an idiot, but they went sort of all over the place with it. There are a few lines LeBlanc gets that just aren't that funny, and contribute to him looking really, really dense. This sort of sticks with you when you get into his more serious moments, where he's acting more like Ross in his character. Chandler's amazing; I can't say much more. Matthew Perry's expressions and line delivery are so subtle, but all to incredible effect. I'd like to watch some of his other movies.

If you're a Mattew Perry fan, two that I recommend at 'The Whole Nine Yards' and 'Serving Sara'.

I've been meaning to see The Whole Nine Yards, actually. It sounds like a funny concept. ;p
