Who Likes Bugs?

I think bugs are cool. They scurry around a lot, and are generally nice to watch. I like bugs.

I cannot stand bugs. Especially spiders, want to see me run show me a spider. My sons seem to think I love them because they are forever bringing them to me. I don't have the heart to tell them to stop that they just are not my favorite things.

I made a pact with bugs when I was younger. I said, "You do your best to stay hidden from me and I'll do my best not to squish you when I see you and instead take you outside and let you go." I think they spread the message, because the treaty still stands. Although since moving to the East Coast, house centipedes have threatened the fragile cease-fire.
