I've sadly not been able to get my hands on many... I read Desperation, The Mist, and Cell, and a few short stories by him as well...
I think I like Cell a bit more then the other two, still, the most annoying ending ever X___X
I have not read It... pooey, heard it's good though

The book Blaze, under one of his other names is pretty good, I never finished it though... It's the surname he gave his younger works. it's one he found in a portfolio of his younger self's, so he decided to edit it a tad bit, but keep that raw edge it had, as he liked it, different and edgy to his other work, probably before he developed his current style, but still with some certain aspects...

Either Carrie, IT, or Desperation. I can't choose a favorite; many of his books are too good for that.

i agree with RB6K, the dark tower is by far his best book/books ever. he defied everyone when he went fantasy for a change instead of horror and it took the world by storm, it's the books that made him imfamous.

but other than the dark tower, IT, by far over everything.

i agree...but ocme on, IT's the closest story i've ever read about an evil clown that was actually an evil clown! that's just freaking sweet.

but i loved the movie the shining, i 'll give you that.

The Stand is an excellent book, But for sheer scale it's without doubt got to be the Dark Tower series, I have never been so disappointed about anything ending, He should have carried on with them forever lol

Got to go with It as well, but his shorter story, The Body comes close behind, and Eyes of the Dragon...

Either IT, The Shining or Duma Key

Christine, because I love objects that have the desire to kill.

The Stand is my favorite. A close second would be The Talisman because of how different it is from anything else he has written, but that could be because of Peter Straub who also helped write the book.

Big fan of Pet Semetary here. The movie was good as well, though not as good. Been meaning to get my hands on Full Dark, No Stars.

The Shining hands down, it's like the perfect book. I have only read it twice though, it scares the crap out of me.

I haven't finished another King novel besides that, however. About halfway through Misery right now. But I'm addicted to his short stories. Everything's Eventual is my favorite short story collection, followed by Skeleton Crew.

It's always hard to pick just one of something, Stephen King is the same. Every one of his books has such a different flavor too it... IT was the first one of his books that I read, so I'll always be partial to it, but I have to agree with the majority here - Dark Tower and The Stand are definitely at the top of the list. I'm also partial to the Green Mile.

The Stand by light years - IT is a great read once you get to the second half as the first half is King in over detailled scene setting mode

It's not exactly a book but Quitters Inc. left a huge impression on me
