What about VHS?

My father-in-law has a massive VHS collection, which he will probably keep forever. He maintains a painstaking list in MS Word, so that other people can review his collection and borrow movies. Could listal add VHS?

Wouldn't using the Movies feature suffice?

Why not just put this is a vhs and not a dvd under the desciption of the dvd, like the personal notes on it.

If I understand the Movies feature, it is just whether you have seen it or want it, not to make a list of what you own. Obviously, in the combination of DVDs to Movies, it would seam easy to add VHS.

I like adding the exact version that I have to my lists, by UPC or ISBN. That way it is clear whether it is widescreen, subtitled, contains extras, etc.

I will think about adding it later (not high priority though)

Damned, funny how I just came to my laptop, with 6 VHS just in case I was to find something to list them... ;) I'll keep them near just in case :D
