Actually I think much of the general populas read very little outside of tabloid press and internet boards in this day and age. If you're reading that many books that makes you an instant intellectual.

I generally read a book a week, but I can read one a day depending on what it is (young adult books take a day or two). Also, for me manga doesn't count as that only takes an hour or so per volume. So it all depends on what you're reading, Strange.

See, I read at least two books a week, as well as work around forty-eight hours weekly, and a load of other stuff that I can't be bothered to list. At the end of June when I have a week off from work, I'll probably read ten books or so. Also, I read "smart" books that generally have around 500 pages, or more. I've just about finished the Vietnam War books in the library, so I'll have to get a new subject...
