Walking Dead Season 3 Opinions

BAMF 11 years, 1 month ago at Apr 3 22:17 -
What are your opinions on the latest season of the popular show The Walking Dead?

-It's the best season so far.
-It had plenty of really strong performances this season.
-The finale was a bit frustrating, but still really good and unexpected.
-Some characters have improved while I wish a few others would go away already.

Carl needs to have:
his legs ripped off - so he can't do his stupid strutt,
his tongue ripped out - so he can't talk shit like normal
and his entire head ripped off - so he can't wear that stupid hat.

Glenn has started to annoy me this season as well, can't figure out why though, think it's because he reckons he's third in command when it should totally be Hershal.

Rick on the other hand, has definitely changed for the better, seriously doesn't give a shit anymore and is so much more interesting to watch now he's crazy.

I agree Carl is annoying as hell lil' governor shooting up people for no reason lol.

Glenn is acting a bit superior but I do like the fact that he manned up.

I feel like the entire season built to nothing, that the epic action we all hoped for has simply been postponed until a later date. I don't understand why the producers decided this was the best course of action, especially after the outcry that season two was boring, and dragged on. They did the exact same thing with the finale that they did with all of season two, made it melodramatic with little bits of action. Season two remains my favorite season yet, because if they want to be scarce with the action at least do it right like they did in Season two.

I'm sad to Mazzara go, especially if the finale is any indication of what Season four holds. Mazzara brought life to the second half of Season two, the same life that was carried through the first half of season three, but petered out around episode 11. Despite the fact David Morrissey was the stand out actor most of the season, they better bring him back only for about half of season four. With both Rick and the Governor still alive, it is inevitable that they would not stop until the other is out of the picture, which is another problem I had with the finale.

It was simply inconsistent with the rest of the season, and I hope season four is much faster paced and there is more shocking plot twists.

The first half of the season was pretty damn good. The writing was great, and the deaths were shocking. But around the half way mark, the started going with too much filler, and not enough action. The second half was up and down, and the finale was a pretty big letdown. It was the best season, but it should've been better.
