Villians

I dont know about you but I like the villian more than the superhero. I have been watching General Hospital a lot and the villians they have like Jerry Jax, and Franco just made me like villians more. Who else is with me on this?
Favorite Villians
5.Venom
4. Green Goblin
3. Magneto
2.Two Face
1. The Joker

I suppose I'm with you on this, but maybe in a different way as I think our favored genres differ. I like movies that are based on real life villains, I like getting into their heads, and in a weird way I suppose I root for them. Even if I shouldn't.

I'm torn between Dracula and Godzilla, though Godzilla has been portrayed as a hero on occasion. I know what you mean about rooting for the villain tiffany. I only don't mind either of these guys being beaten if it's by a worthy opponent - not necessarily a strong opponent, but an opponent who is cool in his or her own right. Quincey Morris and Mothra are two examples of opponents who I don't mind beating those two villains I mentioned.

Villians are great rolls to get in films. My favorites are Khan portrayed by Ricardo Montalban and Ming the Merciless portrayed by Charles Middleton. What made the characters stand out is their need not to just destroy their enemy, but to to hurt them. They wanted their opponents to suffer. I really believed in the hate when watching both their performances.
Ming gets more detestable with each preceding serial in the series. In the final serial he is as insane as Khan.

Freddy Krueger, Jigsaw and the one, and only Darth Vader.

As far as supervillains go, these are some of the ones I liked most:
5. Prince Nuada - Luke Goss, Hellboy II
4. Col. William Stryker - Brian Cox, X2
3. Magneto - Ian McKellen, X-Men
2. Loki - Tom Hiddleston, Thor
1. The Joker - Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight

I really like The Joker, Darth Vader and Magneto as villains. They just have something about them which makes me wanna root for them instead of the heroes! Or maybe I'm just twisted ;P

I really like Hannibal Lecter, he's always the best. The second is Chris Nolan's and Heath Ledger's Joker, a true devil with no humaness. I think Darth Vader, Magneto and Jigsaw was OK, too.

Peter and Paul from "Funny Games"

I find villains to be so fascinating. The only type of characters that I think are more interesting are Anti-Heroes. I especially love villains that are incredibly over-the-top or are tortured souls. For me it's hard to think of my favorite villain on the spot, but some of my favorites include Frollo, The Joker, Scar, Rattigan, Bob Ewell, Biff Tannen, and Abigail Williams. For me, there is no greater crime in all of cinema--heck, all of media-- than creating a sterotypical, unmemorable villain.
