Updating items

After an item gets added from IMDB are there regular updates in the cast list and such? I'm asking because I have started adding to IMDB and as soon as my addition becomes public, I add it to my collection, but the cast and other items don't get added for quite a while longer. But, even when they are eventually added there is no change to their product page here. It can be annoying to have empty cast lists that I can't add tags and pictures for...

When someone visits a movie page it checks that imbd data has been updated within a month, if not it will go and get it.

If the cast data is missing when you add it and cast info is on imdb then there is something wrong.

Ahh, is it the same for TV shows?

The cast wasn't on the IMDB page when I added it to my collection. I meant that IMDB doesn't update the cast for a while after the product is first entered, so it didn't appear on the product page here either. But once the cast was updated on IMDB it is still missing. Examples:
