Ultimate Websites

Aside from listal.com which is the best, what other websites do you use and why?
My favourite is runpee.com for pregnant women, elderly viewers, hell anyone that drinks an extra-large one at the cinema, this is great. It tells you when you can afford to run and pee. If you are with a date you can also use this to pick your moments ;-)
For those with a strong bladder or a slow love life, it also tells you if there are extra credits at the end which you need to hang around for - So you don't miss anything!

I visit very often a greek website/forum called Greek Retro Maniax (retromaniax.gr). Everything is written in greek language, so...
The members are interested in old movies, music of the 70's and 80's, TV of the past decades, retro video games, DOS, old consoles, magazines and comics that aren't around anymore, sports events of the past. And not only these things. We exchange our memories from the school days and our lives and habits as children and teenagers. You know, we write about our neighbourhoods, the small movie theatres that gave their place to the multiplex cinemas, old cafeterias, fast food restaurants and bars, playgrounds they don't exist now, even about our favorite cheese snacks and chocolates we can't find anymore and we are sad for it and blah, blah, blah. Most of the persons there are 30-40 years old.
Why? Nostalgia I guess and I want to keep my memories alive. Plus, the love for the music of the 80's, the movies, the old video games.

Sunday Monday Happy Days!!! Tuesday Wednesday Happy Days!!

Besides this I regularly use Flixter.com - a great site for movie fans (rate and review movies, forums, quizzes, polls, custom movie lists etc).

@Zozoulini: X-Entertainment, which I used to visit quite a lot, is sorta similar.

I spend a lot of time online using the social gaming site Hattrick. It's a football manager sim. If you like football & want to manage your own team then Hattrick is the game for you. Give it a go ..

TWITTER;))....cause it's very funny. And IMDB, and Facebook.

Only rottentomatoes

Metacrtic pretty must lists every award possible and dozens of top critics picks for each year. If your looking for a quick scan of who said what about films in any given year... this is the spot.
www.metacritic.com/film/
When IMDB is making me cranky... there is always Allmovie. Their film synopses are used by Netflix, Blockbuster and Greencine...
www.allmovie.com/
For good lists and information there is 'filmsite'... I love the best movie monologues list.
www.filmsite.org/
Movie poster data base for... ah ya... you got the idea...
www.movieposterdb.com/
Unless you know Czech then you can always find the most interesting posters here...
www.filmovy-plakat.cz/index.php?menuid=0301&templ=template_articles.inc
Aside from that, to get good information about movies I talk to my friends or follow a blog. Sorry... I hate 'rottentomatoes' and only stumble over there if I'm looking to see if a film has hit the theaters yet...

I check Something.com twice a day for updates.
As long as we're being serious, though, I visit SciFi Japan and Undead Backbrain at least several times everyday.

If I want to know the entertainment value of a show/book/movie/person etc. and whether or not its something I would enjoy, I go there. Be prepared to spend your whole day there.

I like it because it shows that some people are really observant and it shows that even the greatest movies have mistakes.

I was unaware that "ultimate websites" even existed.

YouTube is awesome! LEGO Ideas is the best idea ever on its own! Facebook is also great! IMDB is very useful! Brickipedia and many encyclopedias (Wikipedia) are useful for me!
