What type of iPod do you have?

I have a white 30GB iPod video.

Eight gig nano - my ears dance.

I don't have an ipod, because I think they're the spawn of satan...it's just a name, it's the same damn thing as every other mp3 player out there...

True, it is the best mp3 player, but I think I checked on the consumer reports, and they were still rated "Good". (That means the other mp3 players SUCK!)

My bro has been through like, what, 4 pods? Fortunately, he had the warrenty. NEVER GET AN I-POD WITHOUT THE WARRENTY.


I'm waiting for a new model, one that's smaller than the 30G, (In size) and that's bigger than the nano (in size and in memory). And maybe about 10-15G.

I may just get a 30G for Christmas.

I have a 1G 512MB Shuffle. It works very well for audiobooks.

Ah. I can imagine that it would.

I've actually considered getting a shuffle, but it's so small, 1 gig at max. Plus, it's 100 bucks.

and.. ForgivenForSure, you better believe that I bought a warranty. I break EVERYTHING.... ^.~ Plus, I was told that getting the warranty is cheaper than purchasing a new battery.. And my warranty covered batteries! :oD

I only got a 30 gig, and it's black instead of white.

But I got a great deal on it, and that's what's important. $100, for a slightly scratched 30 gig iPod.

I was thinking about getting an iPhone, but it's only 4 gigs, and like $600, so I think I'll just wait until the price goes down, or the memory goes up.

Is it seriously only 4 gigs? That's sad. Good decision to wait.

I'm kinda scared to buy a phone by Apple. I mean the Pods have sooooo many problems breaking, odds are the phone isn't much better.

June 29 is when the iPhone comes out. It's got a touch-screen, so that's probably considered the predecessor to the touch-screen/widescreen iPod, so it'll probably be a year or so.

The iPhone is just so shmexy that I'd love to have one, but like I said, $600 for 8 gigs is outrageous. ($500 for 4 gigs, I was mistaken. Still, 8 gigs isn't enough for $600) I might consider a Neo1973 which is almost as attractive. You'll be able to write your own software for that, whereas the iPhone is off limits to 3rd party software.


By the way, my iPod has only frozen on me one time, and I bought it used (and probably stolen! :O ) from a friend.

@voxy...yea the screen freezing wasnt a bg problem.. it gets solved in a minute..or atleast making the ipod rest for a lil time..helps it fucntion..
It mostly happens..when ipod is like running on for quite a lil time..
