Top 3: Feature Wish List

Perhaps it's a good possibillity for Tom to identify the most needed/wished feature if everyone could post your own "Top3 Feature Wish List"... and here is mine:
1. Editing Movies/TV/DVDs/Books/Games (all data)
2. Display the year of a movie in the list views
3. Tag multiple things at once

1. Editing CAST list. Description is now editable, as are titles, posters, images, videos, which is all awesome, but CAST list is sometimes butchered by IMDB and needs to be tweaked. Maybe have two casts, Primary Cast which is fully visible, and any secondary, non-important extras can be on seperate page of 'Full Cast', or maybe 'Full Cast' links to IMDB's full cast list, and only listal's 'Primary Cast' is visible in listal?
2. Fix up tags. Some recommendations, have 'public' and 'private' tags, with public only pre-determined list of keywords/genres, and everything else set as 'private'. this would really simply the confusing eye-sores that some of these tag boxes are turning into. And make those 'public' keywords appear as auto-type suggestions?
3. might be a bit involved to go thru all the ones already made, but split Comments/Reviews into 'Comments' and 'Reviews', with 'Reviews' having to be approved by listal VIP members or administrators. or by people with more than 30,000 points (hehe). basically, things like 'This movie was awesome!' or 'This movie sucks and causes suicides!' would be considered a comment, whereas a true 'Review' discusses the movie, the plot, the characters/acting, and also screened to avoid possible plot spoilers.

I have thought about this for a while now and I decided to do something like this :
The ability to classify tags into a main categories e.g. :
Genre (action,drama)
Theme (drugs,coming of age)
Plot (kidnapping, revenge)
Location (geographical) (london,paris)
Transportation (?) (submarine,train)
Time period (future,present)
Other (anything else thats not public)
Anything else would automatically go into private
I was originally going to make is so the users could choose these and then the most popular would be calculated, I decided that editor choosen categories would be MUCH simpler and I would be able to implement this quickly.
This would make the top 100 tags page much more interesting.
If you are interested in helping (or anyone else) let me know.
(This also applies to books, tv, music, games etc...)

1. auto entry in my movie and television categories when a DVD of said film or series is added to my DVDs.
2. 2 set of stars for DVDs, CDs and even books when it comes to rating. One for the content and one for the actual DVD, CD or Book as in quality of presentation. I like everything I buy and would generally rate the film with 5 but the quality of the DVD may be subpar. I know movie or television is more specific to the actual filmed material but I want both to be gauged when looking a DVD.For example, I love the tv series Kung-Fu and if I owned season 1 I would probably give it a 5 star rating as I love the season but the DVD has been pan and scanned for a 16:9 television so the actual DVD would get the lowest ranking from me. Likewise, Sliders was a series I liked but I hate the packaging, Walt Disney Treasures Chronological Donald and Disney Rarities all present 5 star maerial but Disney really let up down in terms of video quality so the stars are divided and when given one option I go for the maerial itself and not the presentation. I include CD and books here because there are some subpar copies of both out there when the material is still grand just poorly presented.

I agree with Prelude's Number 2. Private Tags should be seen by the Friends of the Tagger Only, then a Staff member can approve the 'informative' ones for public view. People who add Staff approved Tags shud get an extra point bonus.
I started another thread on it but I think Top Actors should be chosen between Top Rated and Top Items.

Tom, love the ideas for the tags. Count me in, if you need help sorting out through the key tags.

1. TV shows by season
2. Tag multiple things at once
3. Cleaning up tags (but you already seem to be working on this; more retroactively going through and changing all the "book"/"based on book" tags to "book adaptation" or whatnot)
