What are They Really Afraid Of?

Women are currently becoming more educated than men in many leading world economies. There is a positive correlation that can be drawn between women's education and positive economic numbers, with the exception of Japan. The more educated women are, the less poverty there will be in the world. So why are our politicians fighting against women's contraceptive which is a key component for women being able to complete college and establihing a career before having children?

women get more opportunities in wealthier countries, not just because they can get an education than in poorer countries but that they know they are able and the culture that in set around us in wealthier countries permits it, being more educated I'd say not sure, in some work roles you need an education and some don't, many female orientated roles require an "education", many male type trades require apprenticeships and can be learned within a short time-frame.
Politicians and women's contraceptive, id say its a religious thing and a moral thing and basically an opinion, i don't think politicians should have any say in personal choices in that nature of that area that is personally important to some people

You see, women are biased because they're too personally involved and thus there's a conflict of interest. Or something.
I don't like how at both the churches I've attended since I was a kid there's never been a woman preacher. Also, at the first one I attended a wedding and during the service the pastor told the bride it was her role to submit to her husband, the man of the house.
I'm very religious, but it makes me angry the way people use their faith to excuse their own prejudices and stubborn nature. Christianity and the Judeo-Christian religions teach that pride is the cardinal sin, and yet many people have this concept that they can be as abrasive and unyielding to reason as possible simply because they have God on their side. He loves them, but there's a good change he doesn't agree with them on these kinds of instances. And what's worse, it gives people opposed to the church a justification for their disagreement with its teachings. When people already take issue with certain verses of the Bible and they see a story about someone in the news who walked into a different church and prayed publicly to forgive the other people in it (true story), it only solidifies the skeptical person's feelings on said faith. It also makes people who are strong in genuine faith look bad by affiliation.
Since these men are so upset about abortion, they shouldn't deter women from being provided earlier forms of contraception.
