I'd have to go with Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy" as the worst song of all-time.

I mean, seriously?

that crazy frog song. i mean, taking a RINGTONE and turning it into a full blown dance tune, there should be a law against it. oh, and pretty much EVERY SINGLE 80s dance remix tune. The 70s disco-era, when that gets done over into House-style dance remix, it works perfect, but 80s tunes should be burried and forgotten, not sped up and remixed to a techno beat.

oh, also every single happy hardcore song. all those kiddie ravers with pink hair and pacifiers and lollipops and tennis caps can go run off a cliff, as far as i'm concerned. they give techno a bad name. House, Trance and Old Skool techno are the only tunes that should be made synthetically.

"Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day has got to be one of the worst.

OK, "Wake Me Up When September Ends" isn't the worst. Any Backstreet Boys or N*Sync songs are the worst.

On the subject of waking, "Wake Me Up (Before You Go)" by Wham! is just mind numbingly terrible. Don't even get me started on "Relax (Don't Do It)" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Between that and Reagan, the 80's were the most retarded decade ever.

Heh. I was exaggerating a bit, obviously, and, of course, to each his or her own. Anyway, I don't claim to have the greatest taste in the world (I owned *several* Crash Test Dummies albums at one point).

I do hear, though I'm no authority myself, that 80's metal (ie, Slayer and the like) is pretty classic.

Well, considering I AM a Canadian woman, that's not true.
Also, I like Jann Arden and Alanis Morissette, so again, not true.

What I don't like are annoying singers who are not good singers (Avril Lavigne, for instance---if you ever heard her live, you would know her singing "talent" is debatable)...and I just don't like Celine Dion...annoying, annoying...same with Nelly Furtado---who comes from the same city I live in....and doesn't even do well with ticket sales here.

I heard Avril Lavigne on some show trying to sing and you could tell that her voice was as weak as umm something.

Which reminds me, anything by Kasey Chambers is a disaster.


I remember the video for Barbie Girl, Sarosh. Unfortunately, but how could you forget something like that? It's a shocker barry crocker and you always have a tendency to remember the shockers.
