The Golden Age of DOS

vanious 16 years, 9 months ago at Aug 6 19:23 -
Anyone remember some half decent DOS games, and preferably know a place to download them?

At the moment I've managed to track down two sites with a half decent selection of Abandonware.

www.alex-soft.net (click the button on the left marked "old")
www.dosgamesarchive.com/list/

My recomendations:
Arkanoid 2: Revenge of Doh
Commander Keen 1, 4 and 5
Crystal Caves
Dangerous Dave
Duke Nukem 1 and 2
Galactix
Jazz Jack Rabbit
One Must Fall
Wolfenstein 3D (and Spear of Destiny)

dosgames.com has loads of games - I've not tried any though.

I remember Willy the Worm ASCII graphics and a simple concept but it had a level editor which was fun :) - it's at the bottom of this page
