The Elder Scrolls

I am so flippin excited for the new release in the Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim. Anyone else here play any of the last, and your thoughts? I have played Oblivion tons and tons and so anxious to see what Skyrim is like. I have read that it is to be much larger and that the caves and dungeons are to all be different and more a part of the game rather than basically the same thing over and over.
Any other fans???
Any other fans???

I'm mostly excited. What I mean by that is, I know the game is going to be excellent cause Oblivion was, but my excitement for it is overshadowed by other games that come out over the next 6 months. But I'll be buying it the day it comes out and playing it for hours if that's what you mean.

Yes I be there the day it comes out too. What other games are you excited about? I haven't bought the new Uncharted game but may go today and get it.

The new Assassin's Creed tops the list for games this month. But I'm so excited for Mass Effect 3 in March that it overshadows everything for me.

I really want it, I loved Oblivion, getting that for 20 a few years ago made me glad to be able to play games on my pc since my systems all died on me and I no longer had a tv.

I got it at 12-11-2011 as first gift for my birthday at 14-11-2011. Already played it 20+ hours and still can't get enough ;) I won't be finished with this game for a long long long time!

I am really enjoying this game! I never played Oblivion, I will have to change that I feel!

Am I the only one that think that walking from one place to another takes like forever?

It does but once you've discovered a town or something of importantance then just fast travel there :-) but I like wandering around

I still haven't picked up Skyrim because it's still $60 lol. Just picked up another copy of Oblivion since I gave my old copy away to a friend. Elder Scrolls 3 and 4 got me through college with my sanity. Love the series.
Not a huge fan of closing the gates in Oblivion, but going town to town and finishing quests are keeping me busy. Hundreds of hours of gameplay if you count replay value and rolling new characters.

Bml93, you are not alone!

I would really like there to be more bookshelves in my owned houses. As it is now, everyone of them is full and I still have more books to place. I'm playing on console, so as far as I know, I can't use any more or anything like that. This is sad.
