I actually thought a few of those were okay when I used to watch them Tom.
Out of curiousity, why not say WHY they are the worst?

yet, The #1 on my list is the most annoying

Doing a "Worst TV Shows" list is difficult because if you put on a show you've never seen before, and it's bad, you simply change the channel. There's no compulsion to finish as there is with movies.

Recently though, some shows I've caught and found particularly bad are:

1. The Hills - A buddy of mine actually suggested we watch the pilot as a joke to see how bad it is. If you've never seen it, it's worse than you could possibly ever imagine. It made my skull pound.

2. Code Geass - My best friend forced me to watch the first volume of this anime after talking it up for months like it was the second coming of Christ. The premise is neat, but the main protagonist is so annoying it's impossible to root for him.

3. True Blood - I only watched the pilot, so feel free to hate on me all you like, I found everything about this show off putting. Small town girl, and the leering bad boy vampire in the darkness? It's Twilight, the series, but for adults with lots more sex. Plus, do they think they're fooling anyone that the vampires on this show secretly represent homosexuals? It's a cool idea, but they don't even try to be subtle about it. "God Hates Fangs!" and "Vampire Equal Rights Amendment". Maybe I needed to watch more than one episode, but yeah...no.

Hrmmm... There is so much crap out right now, I would have better chances making a top 10 list of the best shows.

Never seen Code Geass... it's supposed to be a rather difficult character to like though, you either like the main dude or despise him
Star Trek was okay... but not as great as I'd hoped
ANTM isn't that the thing where one guy made a dress out of garbage bags? or was that a fashion thing like it?
either way, it was crap

Space Precinct from the mid 1990's starring "that Knots Landing guy" Ted Shackelford is one of my favorite worst shows.

Although I'm wondering if James Cameron found it inspiring enough to use it as a basis for the Navi people in his upcoming Avatar?

I'm probably going to get shit for this but dexter I could never get into it I've tried though.

Friends, absolute over rated American gunk. The dialogue is obvious, scripted and I hate nearly all sit comes where they edit laughing on top.

"Outsourced" was one of the worst shows I've ever seen

Outsourced was an American television sitcom set in an Indian workplace. It was based on the John Jeffcoat film of the same name and adapted by Ken Kwapis (In Cahoots Productions) and Universal Media Studios for NBC.

I say most of what is playing on Nickolodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel these days.
