Tagging Suggestion

Another suggestion, when tagging items if there is already a tag that we would add, could we not click that tag and it add to our tags? Similar to amazon I suppose.

Although, its a quick & easy idea to get the right tags at the top of the page. I feel the link to other items with that tag is better. Seeing as we have a points system in place, anyone can abuse it with the kind of happy clicking young kids get into.

Oh, this brings up a question from me(based off of what Alliance said)
If somebody enters a tag already there, do they still get points? that may be a problem... Am I right?

Yeah they do. Its kind of an iffy subject, because tagging wouldn't benefit any of the new members if all the classic tags were typed in (genre, locale, themes). They'd only do it if they was bored.

You have an excellent point that I had not thought of. Sigh, perhaps an idea for "my top five used tags" ??? No, you are right, people would abuse it.
