I suggest the inclusion of plus a called category "Software", in the same molds of excessively.

Possibly in the future, want to keep the site fairly focused for now.

i think this would be nice. the pictures section could be called "screenshots" and the main photo from the software profile could be the application icon (such as a transparent PNG). I'm thinking something like this:

Or not... pictures could be "Pictures" as it is now and then when posting an image we can choose between image types: Icon, Screenshot

The icons do look nice, I am hoping to add more categories this year.
