Surname sorting

I love the site, BUT, the book aspect is a bit useless - when compared to Library Thing - as in author sorting it sorts by author's first name. Why would you ever want to sort you book collection by the letter that the author's first name begins with? Also am I missing something or can't you search your own content set? These gripes aside, still a thumbs up.

The search within your own content is planned. The surname thing can be done it's just that the data isn't in a good format for that at the moment.

It also appears that the author name is not "normalised". I have 2 books by the same author and the name is spelt differently in each case. Presumably, this is just how amazon stores the name.
