17 years ago at Apr 11 17:11 - Yeah, I can really see the musical connection from "The Reason" to "Echo". I have Trapt's self-titled debut. There's a nice jazz aspect to their work that requires the ear (or two of them, if you can manage).
If you like Hoobastank's less downbeat stuff Incubus is also a good suggestion. Vocally there are similarities between the leads.

Edit 2: It's been so long I can't even remember what hoobastank sounds like. Only Sublime comes to mind.
