Suggestion: Standard Naming for Game Consoles

One thing I've noticed is that if I try to browse games by platform, there's no standard naming conventions in place. Some include the company name, some not.

Any chance we could see this stuff sorted a little more nicely, like simply the manufacturer name and the console name? Maybe even have a drop-down menu of consoles for people adding new entries too, so people don't throw things off or write the console name in all caps.
