Suggestion: More Edit Options

Tom, thanks for adding some of the edit options to item pages, but was wondering if the following are planned and if not, could they be added soon?

Under Music section:
- Edit/Add Track Listing

Under Games section:
- Edit/Add Developer
- Edit/Add Manufacturer
- maybe add sub-section for PC Games only - O/S? i.e. Dos, Win98, WinXP, Vista

Also, it would be nice to add option for people with lots of points (maybe 20,000 or even 50,000) to 'merge' duplicate entries and/or delete out duplicates that nobody has added to their lists. The amount of duplicates is insane. Nothing more annoying than trying to add a popular game and finding 3 or 4 duplicates. :)

Psh. I'll have 20,000 before long. 50,000 isn't much of a stretch, either. I give people the images they want to see!

Did you already make a thread for Movies and Books? It'd be funny if we added MLA criteria for students to rip. I never liked MLA meself, but it's courteous for the future leaders of the land. I hate that handbook. The terms and abbreviations are almost as bad as the Naruts'!

What's MLA criteria?

About Movies and Books, here's what would be nice to add:

Under Movies section:
- Edit/Add MPAA Rating
- Edit/Add Writer

Under Books section:
I think it's pretty well covered.

scratch that last comment. One thing that would be nice is to add two different distinctions: Printed date, as well as Original print date (if applicable). So if there is a LOTR novel published in 2004, you can still see when it was originally published.

Never heard of the MLA handbook? It's the school system's new way of restricting a student's technical freedom when expressing him- or herself through written words. I forget if there are other things like it all over the globe, but I was just suggesting maybe a link to different citation examples. These type of things help a LOT for poor kids who end up being zapped a zero on an incredible test grade for plagiarism because they put (Miller 2.55-56) when they actually put one word in from line 57 as well. I blame Bob Sagett.

Books are covered pretty well, I'll admit.

Yes the things are planned but I'm redoing the custom lists, item pages and moderation features first.

It would be great to have a page for each developer and publisher as well.

I'll bet you're swimming in codes and window tabs now, Tom.
