Suggestion: Improve Custom Lists into 'sections'

Take a look at this list:

www.listal.com/list/official-need-speed-series

I'd love to be able to 'group' certain items in this list, to make it more appealing to look at, maybe by grouping them with an extra border, and maybe even different background colors. Example, group into sections all 'Underground' versions, and also all 'Underground 2' and 'Most Wanted' and 'Carbon'.

any easy way to code this up?

heck, i'd even settle for a nice thick divider line to help split up these sections :)

hey yeah. I was thinking the same thing a few days back.

I'm all for it.

another way to do this may be to remove the 'add note' option from certain 'minor' items in list, and by doing so, the custom list would be reformatted to fit up to 3 items in a row. By doing this, it would have effect of making the list look like this:

MAJOR ITEM WITH NOTES

minor item | minor item

MAJOR ITEM WITH NOTES

minor item | minor item | minor item

minor item | minor item

MAJOR ITEM WITH NOTES

MAJOR ITEM WITH NOTES

minor item | minor item | minor item

Minor Items would also lose the stars and links to Owned/Wanted. All they would really need is thumbnail (could be sized a bit smaller), title, platform, and the two numbers (# of listers, and avg rating)

I guess the second suggestion about minor items, i'm already doing it in a hacked up way, but would be nice to have it done automatically with a bit of info (platform, rating, and correctly linked to the item) rather than the HTML bastardized way i'm doing it in this list:

(see C64, Amiga and Atari ST links within main item)
