Loginsuggestion for actors/actresses profiles

18 years, 5 months ago at Nov 15 21:09 - I have an issue with the 'My Top Actors/Actresses'. Unless you own a ton of their movies, it's next to impossible to find your 'real' top favorites. Gary Oldman was on page 37 for me. Scarlett Johanssen is on 30.
And on the flipside of this problem, page 2, i have stephen root, who's a minor actor, but appears in 6 movies, and page 3 has jim cummings, who is just a voice actor, but appears in nearly all disney/pixar films. I really wouldnt consider them 'my top actors'.
It makes it very hard to find your favortie actors/actresses page. Even searching for a movie you know they're in, clicking on their name doesnt take you to their profile page. You have to skim thru many pages. And each time you add movies, it reshuffles that index, so they won't be guaranteed to be on page 30 when you're looking for them.
I don't know if its planned, but what would be nice is to have a ratings system for actors/actresses as well, and allow me to sort my actors list by my rating, using their 'views' as secondary sorting. Then all un-rated and low-rated actors will be kept on the end pages, and all my favorites near the front where they belong.

18 years, 5 months ago at Nov 15 21:11 - also making the actors/actresses, diretors, and authors searchable would be a big plus for finding their profile page so you can rate them high and bump them up to the top.

18 years, 5 months ago at Nov 15 22:42 - Yes I have planned to add ratings which will include similarity calculations and recommendations which should be interesting. There is also the favorite list on the profile I'm not sure how that is going to fit in yet.
You can search for actors now but it links to the movie list rather than the profile, I will change that to add that link and include the thumbnail as well, should look pretty good.
