If the anime lot like listal and want to stay and keep anime section they should contribute. If they don't why let them choose if anime should stay or not if they did nothing for the site they shouldn't have a say in it.

17 years, 1 month ago at Mar 28 0:45 - Its not the anime 'section' thats the problem, its all the immature anime kids on here. I put in strict 'only anime discussion in anime section' policy, and that area is now a ghost town, except for a few helpful people (like chibiyusa)
But it could be that majority of listal knows how bad that area used to be so they're avoiding it, but good anime discussion will slowly return, so I'm ok with keeping it and see what happens in a month or two.
If anything, I think getting rid of 'Random Chat' would be the final nail in the coffin for all the site abusers. Right now, interesting topics get posted in 'General Discussion', entertainment topics get posted in their respective groups, and Random Chat is just a bunch of RP, 'I bored', 'any1 on?' and 'OMG my love life sux and i am trying to kill myself'.... I really don't see how any of that contributes to Listal. So all I can do is delete/lock all the useless and bad eggs, and hope they leave if they don't find anything else on Listal appealing.

17 years, 1 month ago at Mar 28 1:18 - May i ask, why the hell is there even an Anime section?! Anime comes in the form of tv, film, dvd, books and games. It is not a separate entity! I think it SHOULD be deleted purely because it is unreasonable to give it its own group, if Anime has a group why cant Football, or everything else! I understand it served a purpose back when there were tons of anime threads but now its just pandering to the one form of media we are all trying to avoid bringing down Listal. Please remove it asap, and perhaps remove Random chat too, then eventually people might just get the idea that they are unwelcome if they are going to spam repeatedly and never say anything insightful.

17 years, 1 month ago at Mar 28 5:06 - It came because we were outraged at how the groups were. Before the change. Back when there used to be user-created groups, anime freaks went in EVERY ONE. And made new useless ones too. So when Tom switched to the current format, he made an "Anime" section, that doesn't count to the total post count. Hopefully, if we can ever gain control, it can be deleted and just incoporated back into TV, movies, etc.

Anime is much better but if we just throw it in with TV/Movie/Games etc. we'll have the same problems as before. Until the Age Limit is enforced and the current generation of 'Rootz have left. We can't get rid of the section.

17 years, 1 month ago at Mar 28 14:52 - I'd much rather have an "Animated" section instead of an Anime section, so that way there can be other sorts of discussion allowed over there really. But it wouldn't be a death blow to "anime" discussion should it get deleted anyway since all them "anime" people that came here thinking it was an extension of Myspace would probably just spill over to the other boards all over again. If anything the anime section is alot better now. Relatively speaking of course.
There really was never a point to Random Chat anyway other than getting the garbage away from the eyes of the general public.

They are way to pathetic to be called that, you can call them Anime Posers or something like that ^^ Anime people, HELL NO, first, they don't discuss anime, secondly: They don't have ANY understanding of the plotlines or the inner conflicts of the character except the thing that are in black and white. and three: They lack any mental capability whatsoever... and of course, 4, they don't write any reviews about their 'favorite animes' or their 'favorite song' or their 'favorite' ANYTHING!
If you can't write a decent review on your favorite things then you don't deserve to even SEE this site, let alone post on it!
(Btw, sorry for letting that loose, I have kinda been holding in the fact that I despise most of them for quite a while... but it finally came out and I feel much better!)
