studio 60

i heard studio 60 is going to get cancelled. :/ something about heroes being too popular

I don't know, I saw premiere of Studio 60, and it was interesting, but I never bothered seeing another episode. I think the only thing that drew me to the premiere was how the producer did an on-air rant, similar to what was done in the movie 'The Network'. But one neat on-air rant does not make a show. And the rest of the show, about how two guys who the studios hate get hired to take over the series, I don't know, I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it was a well made show with good writing, but if it doesn't find an audience in first few months, it gets canned. That's how the system works.

But if you love the show, dont give up hope. All us Family Guy fans kept voicing our opinion after the show got cancelled a few years back, and now its back on air with huge ratings. I think it faced tough competition years back vs Simpsons and Futurama, but then people realized the Simpsons have jumped the shark and the much-better Futurama was cancelled, they all flocked over to the re-launched Family Guy.

oh, back on topic, I'm a fan of the cancelled 'Futurama', but I heard they might go back on air, so we might be in luck.

And i'd love to see Simpsons, 24, and Prison Break get retired. They have huge ratings, but those ratings come from commatose couch addicts so it doesnt count in my books. ;)
