Strange accounts posting strange lists

I wanted to go through the recent lists posted on Listal, but it seems that someone is having fun with the lists. Seems like something automatic because every list has been posted at the same time by multiple users. Here's a screenshot but there are several pages, you just have to explore the recent list to find it.

(30) lists per page x around (23) pages = roughly (690) phony accounts...

Probably over 25,000 accounts in total :/

So, what was the evil plan behind those 25,000 phony accounts? :)

maybe some weird kind of DDOS, but not the attack kind, who knows, but it looks like listal has some kind of super villain whos job is to annoy us to death.
