I don't see much point in trying to fine-tune suggestions until this is implemented. Members will continue to make suggestions that have already been made (and described more clearly or generally) and pointing this out to them is not very helpful because they may feel like you're criticizing them for not finding the earlier suggestions and they have no way of removing their suggestions anyway. Also, some members use specific terms where more general ones could be used because its easier to understand the concept that way and its understood that the suggestion could be applied more generally if it was thought to be a good idea.
In addition, I think we need to first agree on what terms to use in describing suggestions:
By this do you mean in addition to the categories like Movies, TV, DVDs/Blu-rays, Books, Music etc., or are you referring to adding something to the main item page of each of those categories?
If you're wondering why members can't just put every link to other items on listal in the Description box,
a) that makes them harder to find. Some members won't see them at all because they would have to click on 'more' to see them under the plot summary. There needs to be a way to see that links are available for that item that doesn't require clicking on the 'more' link. New members wouldn't even expect there to be any links there in the first place because they'd assume that field was intended for plot summaries. Also, if you have 40 such links and you're only looking for one particular kind, you don't want to have to go through all of them scattered about a box where each user has chosen their own formatting--you want them sorted alphabetically or chronologically, which leads me to:
b) there's no standardization of terminology. One person will describe a link as 'Remake of,' another will say 'Based on,' and another will use words that are not even accurate because their English is poor. I'm not saying there should be a separate field for every possible relationship like 'remake of,' 'married to,' 'based on,' etc., but there should be a separate field for adding links and a drop-down list of choices next to it for describing them. If none of the drop-down choices are appropriate, then there could be an option for adding a new one or typing it in manually.

I think that might be my case.. =^_^=
I quote hyomil. And then everyone uses listal in different ways and for different purpose, so everyone makes suggestions according to that. For example I don't collect videogames, I don't know how my ideas could be applied to that area, I just don't think about it.

I agree that's how it will be done.

In the example you gave the general suggestion was made after the others had been posted.
I have no problem with people submitting very specific things they want implemented. The 140 character limit is in place to keep suggestions focused on specific tasks. For example this suggestion www.listal.com/suggestion/75 I prefer that it was posted separately.
If people's suggestions are too specific I will merge them together (when this function is written)

People still need to know if similar/same suggestions exist and this should be put in the comments. The people that vote should know and the suggesters and commentators should find each other.
