Huzzah for useless one word posts.

Southpark is the worst show on television. It directly teaches kids to hate Jews, for no reason other than they are Jews. It's not funny. The humor in it is for 12 year olds, little kids cussing at each other. It's not clever or witty. It uses probably about 15 people for the entire show. It's just plain retarded.

I'm just saying, I've met quite a few people that love that show, and practically the first insult they pull out is "You Jew".

DefenderOfKnowledge - There's some very good topical satire in South Park. Not all episodes, but many of them, increasingly so in recent years. More to the point, it basically doesn't single out any particular group for criticism - Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Mormonism, Scientology, various activist groups, terrorist groups, right-wing lobbies all come in for similar amounts of criticism. It addresses a wide range of topics - current events, disabilities, politics, racism, gay rights, the environment, censorship and so on, usually fairly even handedly.

I can certainly understand criticism of the language used in the show and vulgar stuff, not to mention the choice of animation technique and certain episodes that don't really seem to have much point to them, but its far more intelligent than people give it credit for, mainly because they're unwilling/unable to look past the crude stuff.

Yosho is essentially liking South Park for all the reasons the rest of us hate it.

I love South Park. Check my review as it says all I want to say.

I stand firm. I see no redemptive value in this show.

Defender, I suspect you despise the show more for its anti-christian themes rather than its anti-jewish ones, but its all cool, you're free to hate whatever you wish.

Its a show its say i like, but they do have some great jokes throughout.
