Someone is systematically messing up movie titles

Hi,
Someone is changing the names of certain movies to their French title and removing the original and the English title completely, making the movies unsearchable.
Here are some examples (some may be corrected by another user, but you probably can find the changes in the history):
Autumn Sonata
Blastfighter
That Most Important Thing: Love
Also, someone (or the same person) is changing the English titles so that the capital letters are removed from other words than the first one. (So, for example that Pulp Fiction is Pulp fiction).
Some examples of this:
Valerie and Her Week of Wonders
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Silence of the Lambs (ailence?, please stop)
These changes also have removed the original title completely if the original title isn't in English.
If these people are allowed to continue, they will make Listal completely unsearchable so please revert the changes they have done and inform the people who have done this that this is against the rules of the page and changes the view for everyone, not just for themselves. If they are doing this just for the fun of ruining the page, please give them a warning or something.

Wow... that's terrible... I had noticed that many movie names were messed up and I thought at first it was linked to the recent website update.
I have checked the list provided by Supernaut and modified a few (La vie en rose, 8 Women,...) but it is going to be a huge work to fix that.
I will send a message in French to this user to ask him to stop with this nonsense.

I have updated a few movies on this list : www.listal.com/list/mon-cinema
up to n.44, but I don't think I will have the patience to check more than 1000 movies....

ill also help on this

I can fix the movies by fetching the title from imdb for the ones that have changed, unfortunately I am away at the moment so will have to wait until Friday.

No worries, Tom. There is no rush on this but if you could do it when you're back, that would really neat :)

Btw, maybe users shouldn't be able to remove the imdb imported title. I don't see a valid reason to actually delete it. If imdb only had the original title, then let users "move" it to the original title field while adding the English title, but not delete it.

Now fixed up to 400
But I thought that Tom would fix this?

Now fixed up to 425

Now fixed up to 575

Now at 800

im also viewing it "first added to list" but those are not the movies i have in those spots

at 900 now
we only have to look at the first 1300 movies right that about how many he had on this list before he was banned right?

@Supernaut
Right.
What's worse, we are left with no protection for data, at the mercy of any vandal who is going to mess with it.
I think imported movie titles should be locked, while leaving users an option to add an English title if IMDb only has the original title (or the other way round too, adding the original title if IMDb only has English).
I don't think such legit changes happen very often, so it might work like this: user asks a moderator to unlock it, adds the other title, then mod locks it again.

Well the best option would be to have an auto-update for the title as movie titles even English one change their titles a couple times throughout its production process and locking it would prevent from fixing.
i mean what about all the
untitled marvel/dc/etc... movie that get imported over before they have a name would they be locked as that or updated when an official title is on IMDb

strange i wonder why that is

@DN
Yes, an autoupdate / periodic sync with IMDb should override the lock and update the movie title(s) anyway.
The lock would only block random user editing such as this.
