So is anyone getting PS4/XBOX 1

Ps4 was released today here in the U.S did anyone go buy one?
Xbox releases on the 22nd worldwide so not much longer till the next generation of consoles has fully started.

Naw... none of the launch titles - for wither console - really interest me. Everything I'd have a remote interest in is far off so there's no real reason for me to get one now. There is still plenty of current... er, I mean "previous" gen games coming out later this and next year that are more attractive to me... but then most of them are just simple HD updates with some new content.

Then there is the fact I tend to spend more on older, retro games than current stuff anyway. I've been kind of hooked on GameBoy and GameBoy Advance games recently... but I'm playing some of the earliest PS1 games right now. Love the PS1 but I don't really miss how ugly the oldest games look even compared to the games that came out before the system was retired. The games started to look much better once developers knew how to really tap into the system's power....

yeah i bought BF4 because its a MAJOR upgrade from ps3/360 the frame rate is 60fps so smooth its really nice and having 64 player battles compared to only 24 on last gen consoles is just insane but yeah i know what you mean if BF4 wasn't a launch title i don't know if id would have got my PS4 so fast.

Anyways i still play my ps3 i still will as i have a couple more games to beat on it also yeah iv'e been playing my PS1 been playing Final Fantasy Tactics my Favorite FF game.

I'm getting a PS4 later on. I be waiting until 2 years go by or whatever the day Final Fantasy XV comes out. As for Xbox, well after what happened back in May and the features they almost got alway with. I have no intention of getting a Xbox One.

Eventually (probably around my birthday in June) I do plan on purchasing a Playstaion 4, but as of the moment there isn't much reason for me, personally, to purchase one. I have played the COD: Ghosts Playstation 4 and found the graphics amazing! But with some many titles that I have backlogged I cannot simply turn my back on them just to play that same title (or a different one) in 1080p. As for the Xbox One, I will wait a year or so.

I have no interest picking one up yet. The PS4 launch titles don't interest me. The only game I'm interested in on the PS4 so is inFAMOUS Second Son which I'll probably end up getting a PS4 late next year. I've still got a big backlog of games to get through on my PS3 and GTA Online is keeping me busy and probably will do for quite sometime.

As for XBOX One I won't be buying it at all.

Gotten my PS4 with Assassain's Creed: Black Flag and FIFA14. Have gotten one year at PlayStation Plus as well, but haven't been able to redeem the code yet. Looks like they've shut down that feature at the moment.

I'm still enjoying the PS3 and don't plan to upgrade for a while yet.

PlayStation 4 for future fighting game releases.
