Slow Search

Is anyone else experiencing ridiculously slow loading in both the main search and list search (list search is hit and miss), and failed searches in the list search that then get results on the second or third attempt?

It really is starting to pickle my gherkin now, while we did get slowness on the old (and better) Listal, it was generally in patches rather than pretty much there all the time.

How slow? I could find gherkin in Listal main search in roughly five seconds :)

Sometimes very slow, oddly enough it worked ok for a while after I posted, and then fell off again... made me start questioning myself. It's odd that the two sites that I have the most issues with are this and imdb. A good few seconds per search sometimes anyway, far longer than it should take. I've started working between tabs to give it chance to get around to my request. I can understand it taking longer for an entire db search, but I rarely use those.

Edit: Just did first search for a while... about ten seconds.

The overall performance of Listal is sometimes veeeery slow, e.g. it lasts sometimes 30s until a vote is counted.

So far the search at listal is not slow now. Maybe they fixed that already.

But the site itself is still very slow at times. Today there was a time when I even could not get a connection to listal.

Type "movie name" - search result is good - and the "actor/actress name" from the earlier search is listed in the cast of characters
