Site falls apart (for the 50,000th time)

No Most watched actors & actresses! No Most watched Directors! No Most owned music artists! No Most owned authors! No tags!!! Basically every important statistic that gives this site value vanished in latest calamityā¦.

still no Facebook login issues have been insane for about 6 or 7 months now and it's all radio silence.

I tried these pages and they worked for me. Can you please clarify the issue?

On user profiles movies, music and books the features that I mentioned (most watched actors etc) arenāt working, eg says āmost watched actorsā and instead of a bunch of actors photos and profile links itās completely blank. This happened a month or two back but now itās effecting music and books too. Tags arenāt showing on those pages eitherā¦

My tags for people, fictional characters vanished too.

So I guess this is effecting everyoneās ācollectionsā pages whether it be TV, people, films etc.
Can you confirm that is the case Stehako?

Yes, I can confirm this. I messaged Tom. This isn't something I can fix, unfortunately.
Thank you for bringing it up, I hope it gets resolved for you and everyone quickly.

Will the user ratings also be updated since it's been over two months now.

Who knows it's been like half a year since the Facebook login has been fixed so....

What am I missing? All of my collections, ratings, reviews, etc,...are there.

Tags on collections like on People and Fictional Characters still missing. They disappeared.

Tags on users' profiles still missing.

Stehako has kindly informed me that Tom is working on the bugs, we donāt really have any other choice but to be patient. This issue did happen a couple of months back and was fixed, so hopefully that happens again soon.

Understood, Algul Siento.

ā¦and itās back to normal. Thanks Tom and Stehako!

ā¦and itās happened again, well it was quite nice while it lasted, wasnāt it?

@Algul, I believe Tom may have reset the server, given that everyone had issues yesterday trying to post pictures.

@TrekMedic Yup, thought thatās what might have triggered it, it seems to be a recurring pattern that once one thing is fixed another issue appears.

On the malware thread, it looks like someone has overrun whatever security firewalls Tom has set up. Again, numerous "members" dumping 3000-4000 pictures onto Candice Swanepoel's profile, creating lists full of random (and frequently pornographic) pictures, etc,...is a sure sign that Tom needs to perform a major site overhaul, or it'll be shutdown at some point.

I agree, wouldnāt be much of a shock if it folds as itās been hanging by a thread for a years, but the massive influx of bot accounts has really made a sham of any level of moderation on the site to be sure. We know what the problem is, I was yelling about it 10 years ago, but I've realised thereās little good in complaining, Toms gonna do what Toms gonna do. I was happy to quietly use the site to log music and films but the fact that I cant even do that anymore, because the basic structure of the site is corroding⦠well..don't get me going ha ha.

No the tags list and Most Watched Actors, etc. are not working again...
Also- and this has been the case for a while- on the site Update Feed, it never includes posting new images. You have to click on the item "New Images" on the right to get that. Not sure if it is intentional or not..

Looks like Algul Siento couldn't stand Listal bugs anymore, and left the site.

Tags on users' profiles and "Most watched", "Most Owned" are back.

Just experienced IMDb import failure.

Unless it was just me, the site was down for 13 hours last night.

@TrekMedic
For me too.
AND tags on users' profiles are gone again.
