18 years, 7 months ago at Sep 3 13:36 - 1) I think it would be usefull to change the listings of items by just clicking on Product Name, Author, Rating and Added Date aswell/instead of having to change it in the bar above the list.
2) Keep the design the way it is, though you mighjt want to toy around a bit with the colors. It's easy to look at the way it is now.
3) Remove the "Salesrank" of Amazon, it doesn't add anything imvho
4) Make it possible to search outside of Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com (as in, add Amazon.nl and others so people can easily add books from their countries). Now, I can not add dutch books unless there's an English tranlsation.
5) regarding 4: make it possible to add books and movies yourself. Possibility to upload a picture with it, and add author/director etc. If you do this, make sure you support spanish/portugese/czech/polish fonts otherwise titles etc are unreadable.
6) General option to change the picture displayed. You might have a different version of a book/dvd and you want to show it by changing the pic. If someone changes a pic (as in, uploads another) the page is changed to private until a mod approves of the pic (guess you want to keep this site for all ages :p). All a mod has to do is scroll trough a list of recently uploaded pics and check a box that changes the page to public. This means you'll need some mods that are willing to do this work, but it should go pretty fast as long as the community isn;t huge. Or make it an option for premium members.
