Server Performance Problems with Uploads

Hi,

I have sometimes problems uploading pictures. For example now (2:40 UTC+2) I tried to upload a picture with a size of 700 kb - after several minutes the process ended with a server error message.
Loading pictures and pages is fast as allways.

Is there a known issue with server perfomance?

The server seems to be having issues on a daily basis. It can be a nightmare to do anything at certain times of the day.

Somebody needs to feed the hamsters.

I have fixed a few issues that I think were causing some of the problems, the new site will go live soon which should be better optimized and easier to fix problems in the future.
