@El Raulo To paraphrase the great Manuel (Faulty Towers) "You know nothing!"
It wasn't me :) and I'm not a heartbreaker, and I don't stalk. I do however delete images my kids shouldn't have to see when I'm on Listal and then follow any votes for that image back to voters and check their images too. Which often leads to finding lots of other banned images (funny that).

@Isbella if you are going to call someone two-faced then at least have a reason

As for images of topless Shemales being removed, you need to have a position before you can complain about your topless images being removed. You cannot be a 'She'male without being part woman, clue is in the term.

For the record I firmly believe in equality, if a woman is trapped in the body of a man and has treatment or breast enhancement, I'd remove her topless images without hesitation. So I believe the Moderator that removed such images was spot on.

If I post pics of topless boys (trapped in girls bodies)...

it will be cool?
El Raulo 13 years, 4 months ago at Dec 17 23:46 -
I do believe deleting pictures of a topless shemale is the right thing to do.

Nonfictionguy. I think she is calling you two-faced because of all the Sophie Howard's pictures uploaded by you. I believe those pictures are much worse than any picture I have uploaded. I'm a pervert but I'm proud of my good taste =D

People may not believe it but in many ocasions I do agree with moderators. Going back to the subject of this particular topic. I still think that deleting the book cover above was completely ridiculous.(That was why I reulpoaded it)

@Isabella no topless girls bodies aren't allowed. But if you want to post an image of a topless man trapped in a woman's body, who has had her breasts removed and is taking testosterone, then go for it! :)

@El Raulo Hadly two-faced if I upload acceptable images and I don't remove similar images!
El Raulo 13 years, 4 months ago at Dec 18 2:56 -
Oh, well. I'm not the one calling you two faced in the first place. I'm just saying that I think I found the reason for her words.
The thing is, no all nudity is sexually explicit. And some pictures can be sexually explicit even with the clothes on. Let's remember the case of the Olivia Wilde's picture. Tom said "this can be kept as long as they are tasteful and not too sexually explicit" But that just add more problems. See, I think this is not tasteful

And I believe this is tasteful and not too sexualy explicit

And this second picture was already deleted.

But, my point, again, was already at the beggining of the post.
Some pictures are deleted without thinking. The rules are not so clear for all moderators and I'm afraid we may end up seeing things like this.

Hey now! I rule a fairly large district in North Kerphunkabhilstch, and I rule it darn well I might add.

You know I'm only joshing with you, right Isabella? On the note of censoring art (and I mean ART), I've actually just started working on a list that uses Greco-Roman sculptures, and on a few of them there's tasteful nudity - for gods and goddesses alike (actually, the ratio favors gods, though there's only like three total such sculptures at the moment). I selected them based on which sculptures I could find that represent whichever deity's or hero's defining attributes best, and for no other reason except the obvious ones like quality of the shot. I wouldn't not never delete a Renaissance painting or a classical sculpture so long as it's tasteful, which they almost always tend to be. So upload your Michelangelo's David, unless it's a closeup of a particular area!

EDIT: By the way, "Artwork" is the leading selection on the recent poll for future Listal platforms. When it eventually becomes a working section of the site, I look forward to having these mentioned classics available with functionality unmatched by other websites. I'm iffy on some, of course. (The Kama Sutra, for instance...)

You were asking why a picture was deleted, which was an artwork containing nudity. My post fits... Mostly. Your profile background, on the other hand... ;]
El Raulo 13 years, 4 months ago at Dec 18 4:55 -
My background is also an artwork containing nudity.
That takes me to another problem, why people can see my profile after being blocked?

No Playboy photographer's aren't artists - the people that airbrush their photos are!

@El Raulo I stick to my guns, the rules on those two images are clear, but I personally wouldn't remove the second image unless guided to do so - you cannot see anything, and it isn't a great image of Sophie. But glamour photography isn't pornography.

I would however delete any image of David in speedo, y-front or mankini! (Might allow boxers if tasteful)

As for image rules, clarity always helps so I created this list with images on the edge of being pulled, so everyone knows the limits!

Isabella you really cannot take a joke/british humour!

Also isn't it is bit hypocritical to complain about images being removed, then report loads of acceptable images?

Nop, I thought you have a monster camera and you were the greatest photographer on earth.
Then I said... he have the right to tell who is an artist or not.
El Raulo 13 years, 4 months ago at Dec 20 0:54 -
Nonfictionguy. I saw that list before, and I agree with it. Talking again about borderline images, I believe this one is not sexually explicit and shouldn't be deleted. Although it was deleted already five times and I stop uploading it.

About the David, I think we should allow him to be naked. After all, that man's penis is smaller than his finger. Michelangelo was cruel to him. =D

Well, I'm almost done with this topic. I have a clear conscience since I never uploaded pornography. =)

i'm sick and tired of these "discussions". accept the rules of Listal or search for a more liberal platform. and by the way, one of YOU (i'm looking at you Isabel or whatever you call yourself now) has reported a piece of _art_ in my pictures for deletion as well. oh, and guess what, it was deleted by those cruel cruel moderators... only i don't whine day and night about this. get a life, seriously.

These threads do get tedious. Right now I'm pretty happy with the progress that's been made in dealing with pictures that don't belong here.
