Season 3

Well, season 3 has just started, with the first episode airing on 4th October.
I thought that the season opener was a great one especially the mind games with Jack. It could have been better. But its Lost. Not great is still good enough.
A killer opening two minutes though. Whoa!

YES! The opener was a complete mind blow for me. Everyone was saying it was going to be a wild first 5 minutes and indeed it was.

The first episode was indeed good television. I am, however, rapidly getting close to the limit of courtesy I'm willing to extend to this show.

I don't know if anyone else has read the Wheel of Time series, but Lost is beginning to feel just like that. Basically, don't answer any important questions and keep opening plot threads to guarantee future books (episodes). I can't be the only one who feels this way.

I like the show, but I feel the same. If it goes more then 4 seasons, I think it will get tiresome.
Unfortunatly, because it's so popular I think it will be dragged out as long as possible.

Wheel Of Time....12 novels that could have probably been half that....which is as far as I got in the series.

You didn't really miss anything by skipping the second half. That's the real tragedy of the series - it could have been condensed to six books and been *wonderful*. I really hope Lost doesn't fall into the same trap.
