What 's your job ? or what do you study if you are student?

I'm a helpdesk engineer for an European company.
It is just an expensive word for helpdesk agent... but I do it in 3 different languages (French, Dutch, English) which is kind of cool and I support users from many different countries (France, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Spain and Italy).

I'm currently unemployed, but will be attending an education course in Media this June, which will involve traveling to Spain for several weeks to work in a TV studio.
Happy days :)
Happy days :)

I was working as pastry chef but now I'm mommy full time... I have a 5 months old baby, who changed my life in a way I couldn't ever imagined!
Anyway I will try to attend a chocolate course around August.
Greetings!

Well, my full-time job is a stay-at-home dad, taking care of my (currently 19 months old) daughter. I also work part-time from home 4 nights a week analyzing content in product reviews submitted to various websites. It's a lot of reading & as a result I've fallen out of the habit of reading for myself...but I read to my daughter every day, so it's not like I never read anything fun. ;)

That's a good habit. I had insomnia in my more youthful youth and my mom had to read to me at least an hour every night so I'd get to sleep. I love to write now.
Granted, if I do anything creative for my writing it would have to be at my own pace and thus not full- or semi-full part-time. I'm currently getting my associates degree, and am wanting to major in writing of some kind afterward.

I manage a little old movie theater with only 2 screens. It's real old school even though we show new movies. Chandeliers in the lobby and ghost stories for the natives.
However, I went to college and got a bachelor's in English with the intention of working in publishing but that's a tough industry. Instead I hope to one day pursue a doctorate so I can teach at the college level. For now though I'm enjoying having a fun job that's not your average 9-5.

I'm back to field work after being away for three years. You may think it's bad but I make more money doing this than my last two jobs, in the short run atleast. Since this is seasonal work. Truthfully though, I just got tired of filling out applications and waiting for nothing. C'est la vie. Right?

I'm currently in my second year in colledge
two more years to go ...keep holding on !

I'm a business development manager for a recycling company during the day, covering all of England & Wales. It's a very enjoyable role, which I've done for two and a half years. In the evenings I'm a fulltime dad to two very active boys (now 2 & 4 years old).
I've been in work for 27 years, but did manage to squeeze in a Humanities course with the Open University, and British Sign Language lessons before the boys were born. Still love to learn, but do it in very unstructed manner.

@astro_man23 LOL don't listen to johanlefourbe - leave it to the imagination, made me laugh!

I'm a college student and I'm studying art education, I hope to be a high school art teacher in a couple years. The education system here is in bad shape, if I can get a job in it I hope I can make a difference.

I'm studying to become a Finnish teacher for Swedish-speakers (since we are a bilingual country). I'm in my first year, so I'm not that sure if this is the thing I want to do. Maybe, maybe not.

I'm about to finish my first year of computer science at college. Two more years of this and then who knows what the future is holding out

I work at a nuclear power plant full time and as an EOD technician with the USAF. Short name - bomb tech

I work for the American Red Cross. I sit for two 3 hour intervals and make over 300 calls a day trying to get past donors in the Philadelphia/ New Jersey/ West Chester area (people who have already donated blood) to come back in and schedule an appointment to do another blood donation.
It's the hardest job ever if you want to believe it or not. I get cussed at all day by donors and managers for dumb reasons that don't even pertain to me. I sit all day when I wish I could stand or run around and do something. It's emotionally draining but rewarding none the less. I feel good about what I do because I know I'm making a difference. I could also tell you everything about blood types, the CMV Virus (and what it means if your negative for it), as well as different blood donation procedures.
Still out of like 300 calls I make about 7-15 appointments a day. :/
DONATE BLOOD =:O!
